Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters recently earned her degree in Business Management at North West University after making history at her high school for holding two leadership positions. Demi-Leigh’s biggest motivation comes from her half-sister who has a disability, that lives in Potchefstroom with her stepmother and father. In her spare time, Demi-Leigh is passionate about a program she helped develop to train women in self-defense in various situations. She plans to share these workshops and help as many women as she can.

Cho enjoys relaxing and reading a good book, though also appreciates the thrill of competing and challenging herself to improve upon her skillsets. Laura González from Cartagena de Indias has been preparing herself to be an actress since the age of 16. After she graduated from a performing arts school where she studied acting, she moved to Bogotá to kick start her career. Since taking the risk to pursue acting, Laura has worked to develop herself in theater, short films and TV. Aside from acting, Laura enjoys relaxing activities such as Yoga and Pilates. Laura hopes with her experience in front of an audience, she will be confidently crowned the next Miss Universe.

Bunga Jelitha, a professional international model for 12 years now, began her career at 13 years old. Through modeling, she loves to travel and learn about the cultures of the places she visits. Bunga hopes to make history as the first Miss Universe Indonesia to win the title of Miss Universe. If she is crowned Miss Universe, Bunga would use her voice to advocate for protection of children from violence. She would also like to promote better education programs through non-profit organizations. Bunga believes that through her platform, she can inspire women across the world to become leaders and advocate for themselves.

Anna was born and raised in Leicestershire to Polish parents. She is bilingual and is currently studying for a Masters in Human Rights Law in the University of Nottingham. She also works as a model in London.
Burdzy firmly believes that ‘you have two hands; one to help yourself, the second to help others’. She hopes her passion for the promotion and protection of human rights will lead her to work for the UN in the future, and to one day set up her own charity to promote education for girls.

Kseniya Aleksandrova graduated from the Plechanov Russian Economic University with a Finance degree while also working as a model. Since the age of 19, she has been working with two Moscow model agencies to support herself financially. She plans to continue her studies and earn a second degree in Journalism. Winning the title of Miss Universe Russia was Kseniya's first pageant experience, but she plans on furthering her pageantry involvement in hopes of becoming the next Miss Universe.

After completing a Degree in Finance and Accounting, Tonkham became the Vice President of a modelling agency. Her ambition is to one-day run an organisation that will help the older generation. She enjoys swimming, can play the ukulele and has a special talent in Lao Traditional dancing. Tonkham has three dogs and her proudest moment is being able to build a house for her mother. Fátima Cuéllar is Miss El Salvador World 2017. She is 1.72 m tall.
Currently a Communication's student Fatima would like to set up an NGO to work in Health and Education of children in the most vulnerable areas of El Salvador. She has an interest in medicine, enjoys reading public health books and works as a volunteer with children and the elderly. Fatima has a passion for playing chess and the flute and does Rhythmic and Olympic Gymnastics she also has a dog called Nina.
